I was so grateful to find Precision dental, calling around the City on Monday. When I explained on the phone that I have difficult teeth and need to go for frequent cleanings, I was given an appointment the following day. [The office I normally go to has not started booking appointments yet, after the shutdown]. Dr. Irene Bokser herself did the cleaning, and I'm sure I'll go to the office again, and recommend Precision to others.

I am SO grateful to Dr. Alexander and Dr. Irene Bokser. I was 25 weeks pregnant and in extreme tooth pain. They were both able to accommodate me and perform a root canal as an emergency. Thankful to both for easing my pain during these difficult times.

I have had a very good experience with Doctor Bokser. He takes everything with ease and ensures that your issues are taken care in a timely and professional manner. He has the most light hand that I have ever experienced. I had a wisdom tooth extracted the other day and I didn't even notice when he was done. I would recommend Doctor Bokser to anyone that needs a great dentist as he is the best.

Always a great experience. The entire staff is awesome there. Katerina (who did the cleaning) was great! Clean, careful and effective. I’m glad we finally found a family dentist office of such high standards. Me and my wife travel all the way from Brooklyn in order to go to this office. Thank you for all you do!

I’ve been living in Astoria for a couple years, but had opted in the past with dentists closer to work in Manhattan. Never stuck with one for some reason. I finally decided to look for a dentist in the neighborhood and found Dr. Alexander Bokser on Google. I came in a couple months ago for my regular teeth cleaning and it was quick and efficient. I had issues figuring out my insurance when I first arrived at the office, but the receptionist was incredibly proactive and professional as they assured me once we found the info what the next steps would be cost wise. It definitely put me at ease. I have my next check up set up for next January. Definitely recommend!

Great service and care from all the staff. I've had work done by both Dr. Alex & Dr. Irene and they were very accommodating and hardly any discomfort after multiple procedures done. Would definitely recommend!

Felt rushed and up-sold. Perfectly healthy front tooth was removed and given a crown so it would match the one next to it. Previous and current dentist expressed concern over this.
Crowns also don’t even match in color, now I have to pay someone else to redo all of this work and I’ve lost a perfectly healthy front tooth for no reason.
Would not recommend.

The overall staff at Precision Dental NYC in Astoria are phenomenal. Dr. Irene Bokser genuinely cares about her patients and takes pride in her work. A great attribute of Dr. Bokser is that she makes her patients feel comfortable. She has an attentive and caring style, it only adds to her medical excellence. Would highly recommend.

Such a professional and friendly place. A good dentist is not that difficult to find in New York but such a reliable, always high quality long lasting work that this office does is rare. I have crowns and veneers from this office that lasting nearly 20 years. I change where I live but never changed my dentist. And I am glad I did not!

This is a dental practice of liars do not believe anything they say they rob you for your money and now they have a law suit on their hands. I am sure they have many more.

I was overcharged $220 due to poor communication with my insurance company on their end, all the time being dishonest about the cause of the confusion. The only reason I kept going back was because a $50 credit was promised to me if I complete a needed oral surgery with them. The last straw was when I got to my appointment for the oral surgery, they wanted $1200 on the spot. I knew something didn't add up so I ended up canceling the appointment but not before being notified that I had a balance due of $120 (due to their misfiling on their end). It took 3 months to get my money back but not the $50 credit because I didn't end up doing the surgery with them. Why would I when they are obviously incompetent? I eventually went to my old dentists/periodontists to get the surgery done there and it turns out that my insurance actually covers the entire procedure. On top of that, my old dentists told me that many of the procedures that Dr. Bokser wanted to perform were unnecessary. I know that this is most likely the truth because my insurance would have covered it anyways.

First visit here. I chose it because of the great reviews and short distance from where I live. I was able to make an appointment for Saturday morning, 2 days away.
The assistant Viki (sp?) did my x-rays (14) and she was quick! Dr. A. Bokser is very pleasant. He ended up doing my exam AND cleaning my teeth. It was all very efficient, which is exactly what I want in a Dental office.
I highly recommend for ease and efficiency of scheduling and service!
See you in 6 months for my next cleaning!

This place will charge you an arm and a leg to fix a tooth. I have paid $1,000 out of my own pocket and my insurance company paid the other $1,000 for a root canal, post and crown and to fill 2 cavities. There are plenty of other places that do fine work without looking at you like you have a dollar sign over your head and trying to get the max they can out of you. Will never be going back.

Dr. Bokser is great. He gets things done efficiently and skillfully. Very nice guy. And his assistants in the office are amazingly helpful. Definitely recommend going.

We have moved to Queens about 5 years ago. We had a difficult time finding a right dentist. Dr. Bokser’s office was recommended to us by a friend. From the minute we came for our appointment we felt right at home. The staff is very professional and accommodating. The doctors are very thorough and knowledgeable. If you want to get an honest opinion and the proper treatment you should come here

Worst experience ever
They only care about the money and getting payments
They never finishes my root canal because all the sudden they no longer take my insurance so I have to pay out of packet.
