Common Procedures

Dental Crowns

Dental crowns are caps used to cover the entire tooth right down to and just below the gum line to preserve and protect teeth that are severely cracked or have lost much of their original structure. A well-made crown completely seals the tooth underneath, preventing harmful bacteria from getting inside the crown, where they could cause further infection and decay.

Dental Implants

A dental implant is a replacement tooth root consisting of a small screw or post made from titanium or from a strong ceramic material called zirconia. The post is surgically inserted into the jawbone during a small procedure, after which it is covered with a cap that protects the implant while it heals and helps to shape the surrounding gum. A dental implant is the only treatment that protects your jawbone against resorption that happens naturally after a real tooth is removed.

Teeth Whitening

With teeth whitening, your teeth are bleached using specialized whitening gels applied directly to the tooth surfaces. The whitening gel penetrates the tooth enamel, lifting deep-seated stains, and leaving teeth looking brighter and whiter. This treatment takes as little as an hour, brightening your teeth by several shades.

Root Canal Therapy

Root canal therapy is a dental treatment used to remove an infection from the inside of a tooth. It entails removing the damaged pulp from the inside of the decaying tooth and then cleaning and closing the canal to prevent further infection.

Invisalign Clear Aligners

Invisalign treatment is one of the most popular ways for adults and older teens to straighten their teeth. People opting for this system don’t need to wear traditional fixed braces with brackets and wires. Instead, patients use custom-made plastic aligners to move teeth into the correct positions using gentle, targeted forces on each tooth.

Porcelain Veneers

Porcelain veneers cover the front surface of one or more teeth, hiding the tooth underneath and creating a more perfect and aesthetically pleasing appearance. Veneers could help you if you have one or more front teeth that are discolored, chipped, cracked, or worn.

Dental Bridges

A dental bridge is a restoration designed to “bridge” the gap created when you lose teeth. It can be used to replace a single missing tooth, or you can have a dental bridge that replaces more than one tooth that was originally side-by-side.

Dental Bonding

Dental bonding is a fast, non-invasive treatment that can subtly change the appearance of your teeth. The process involves applying a material called composite resin directly to the tooth surface and hardening it using a special blue light or laser. Dental bonding might be a good treatment for you if you are looking to restore or improve your smile but don’t want to spend a lot of money or too much time in the dental chair.

Dental Extractions

A dental extraction is the removal of a tooth from your mouth. A dental extraction is usually necessary if one of your teeth is damaged beyond repair, particularly if you have significant tooth decay or advanced gum disease.
